Marching into Ancient Rome.

I had the privilege of working with the team at ILM on Gladiator II, contributing to the sequence of Pedro Pascal's character arriving in Rome. A sprawling, historically accurate recreation of the city at the height of the Empire. Towering columns, monumental architecture, and streets teeming with life, all built to stand up to the camera's gaze.

My work focused on lighting and rendering heavy crowd simulations and a wealth of architectural detail across the sequence. Many of the shots I lit feature in the reel ILM released showcasing our work on the film well worth a watch to see what the team pulled off.
