It's Clobberin' Time

I had the privilege of being part of the team at ILM on the climactic battle sequence of Fantastic Four, where Galactus descends on a fully reconstructed 1960s New York. It was a massive undertaking. A sprawling period-accurate cityscape as one of the largest assets, a huge shot count, and a punishing deadline. But the crew cracked it.

Among my contributions, I lit and rendered the iconic hero shot of The Thing roaring "It's clobberin' time," along with numerous shots of Galactus laying waste to buildings and stretching Mr. Fantastic across the skyline. Working alongside that crew was, fittingly, fantastic.
